The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ramayana Vishwavidyalaya, Ayodhya organized a hands-on session on “Project Building using Claude and ChatGPT” on 8 May 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Computer Lab. The session aimed to introduce students to modern Artificial Intelligence tools and showcase their practical applications in project development, problem-solving, coding assistance, content generation, and research activities.
The session focused on providing practical exposure to AI-powered conversational tools such as Claude and ChatGPT. The primary objectives of the programme were to familiarize students with AI-based technologies, demonstrate the role of AI in project documentation and development, enhance prompt writing skills, and improve productivity in coding, research, and report generation. The session also encouraged innovation and creativity using emerging AI technologies.
The programme began with an introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs). The resource person explained the significance of AI tools in education, software engineering, and industry applications. Students were introduced to the basics of ChatGPT and Claude, prompt engineering techniques, generating project ideas using AI, writing code snippets, debugging programs, and preparing reports and presentations with AI assistance.
During the practical session, live demonstrations were conducted where students directly interacted with the AI tools on their individual computer systems. Participants learned how to generate project titles, prepare documentation, create algorithms, and develop basic programs using effective prompts. The session remained highly interactive, with enthusiastic participation from students of various engineering disciplines.
The hands-on session proved highly informative and beneficial for students by providing practical exposure to modern AI technologies and their applications in academic and technical project development. The programme enhanced students’ understanding of the future scope of Artificial Intelligence and motivated them to utilize AI tools effectively for learning, innovation, and research.
The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology also expressed gratitude to the faculty members, organizers, participants, and the resource person for contributing to the successful completion of the session.
