Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ramayan Vishwavidyalaya, Ayodhya organized an Expert Talk on "India in Space: Opportunities for Engineers, Technologists, Managers & Innovators" on 22 August 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Ground Floor Meditation Hall. The session was delivered by Mr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Scientist-SF, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bengaluru. The expert shared valuable insights into the rapidly evolving Indian space sector, emerging technologies, and the diverse career opportunities available to students.
The expert discussed the changing landscape of the aerospace and space technology sector and highlighted the growing demand for skilled professionals from diverse academic backgrounds. He elaborated on opportunities related to satellite technology, space innovation, startups, and emerging technological developments. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and raising questions related to satellite technology, startup incubation in the space sector, career opportunities at ISRO, and the skills required for different professional roles. Mr. Singh emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge, technical skills, innovation, problem-solving abilities, and managerial competencies in contributing to India's space programmes. He encouraged students to develop relevant skills and explore diverse career pathways within India's expanding space ecosystem.

The interaction with an ISRO scientist provided students with practical guidance and a better understanding of the opportunities available in the fields of engineering, technology, management, innovation, and space research.
